Dear Parents/Carers of St Cuthbert’s,

Christmas Lunch

The Christmas Lunch was absolutely delicious this year, as always. Our kitchen team have really surpassed themselves and provided us all with a veritable feast of delicious turkey with all of the trimmings. Thank you to everyone who made the Christmas Lunch such a success.

Christmas Fair

Thank you again to everyone who was able to donate and join us at the Christmas Fair. We raised just under £1,000 for our School Fund which is just brilliant! Thank you to our PTFA for doing such an amazing job for our children and school.

Christmas Productions

Our Christmas productions this year have been outstanding. We are so proud of each and every one of our children from Nursery through to Year 6. They have shared their talents with us willingly and it has been a privilege to see them so full of joy and so confident during their performances. Thank you to all of our families for joining us to watch the children perform. Thank goodness we have been able to return to our much-missed live performances this year.

Polite Reminder - Poverty Proofing the School Day – No Gifts for Staff Policy

As you know, we are no longer accepting gifts into school from our children and families. Any gifts which are sent into school will be donated to local charity shops. Thank you for the lovely cards, emails and messages we have received so far – we really appreciate them.

Spring Term Start Date

St Cuthbert’s opens for the children on Tuesday 10th January 2023.

Miss Dembry

Miss Dembry, who has been working at our school via a supply agency, will be joining our school team officially after Christmas. She has settled into St Cuthbert’s brilliantly and is a very welcome addition to our staff team.
