Autumn 2023

Year 6 have enjoyed their first week back! We are all excited for the upcoming year.
Year 6 enjoyed dressing up and watching the Oliver Twist performance this week, as well as working scientifically to find out how the amount of sugar added to yeast and water, affects a size of a balloon!
Year 6 are thoroughly enjoying their computing unit so far! We have been looking at features of websites to help us create our own towards the end of the unit.

We have also launched the daily mile this week, and measured how many laps of the yard we need to complete to meet the mile - super work year 6!
Year 6 loved their trip to Safetyworks on Thursday! They engaged with interactive scenarios/talks, as well as workshops, given by the emergency services and representatives from the transport industry. We are all definitely more aware of safety in the home, and in public places!

Year 6 are making the most of the snow this week!
