As part of Year 6's current geography topic, they took part in a police investigation this week to help them understand how humans use and misuse the Amazon Rainforest.

This week, Y4 made some more delicious delights in CHEFF...they look amazing and we are learning some valuable life skills. In PE, we played bench ball and had a mini tournament, like the World Cup! We loved it and there was some super teamwork!

Reception had a full cube jar and voted to go on the trikes and balance bikes. We rode them on the new road track and tried really hard to keep within the markings. It was good fun.

Year 3 had a fantastic day out at @BeamishLearning. We took part in a STEM challenge to make a vehicle using K'nex. The children's designs were brilliant and they actually moved too! In the afternoon, we explored @Beamish_Museum and had a great time learning about the past!

Year 2 have been learning to explore how music can be used in different ways to express emotions and to trigger their imaginations. The children used the computer to compose a piece of music to include pitch, rhythm and duration.

To celebrate the success of a ‘full Cube Jar’, Nursery voted to enjoy a pyjama day at school. Throughout the course of ‘Pyjama Day’, we watched ‘Bananas in Pyjamas’. Had hot chocolate and a biscuit and shared lots of lovely stories.

Year 5 had a great time planning and investigating if object have more or less gravity acting upon them. We had to accurately find the mass of an object and measure the force of gravity using a Newton meter.
