Christmas Newsletter 8.12.22

8th December 2022

8 December 2022

Dear Parents/Carers,

 I hope this letter finds you, your family and friends all safe and well.

Welcome to our new office staff

We are absolutely delighted to have appointed three new staff to our school office team. Please welcome:

  • Mrs Joanne Watson, who is now working as School Business Manager across St Cuthbert’s and our partner school, St George’s;
  • Mrs Jane Anderson, who is our new Office Manager;
  • Miss Stacey Brown, our new Administrative Support Assistant.

These will be working alongside our other new office staff member, Mrs Charley Robinson, who started in September.

Thank you so much to all of our parents and carers who have supported school during this time of change in the office which has not been easy for any of us. The school office is so important to the effective and smooth running of the school and I am confident we have appointed excellent additions to our team. Thank you for your continued patience and support whilst our new staff adjust to school office life at St Cuthbert’s and their new roles.

Christmas Productions

Our Nursery and Reception Christmas performances have just been wonderful this year. It is so lovely for the children to be performing in front of real, live audiences again. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the performances and join in with our Christmas preparations.

We are very much looking forward to seeing our KS1 performance next week and our KS2 Carols by Candlelight Service in the last week of term. Please come and join us if you can.

Poverty Proofing the School Day – No Gifts Sent into School Initiative

Please remember as part of our Poverty Proofing the School Day initiative, we will not be accepting any gifts into school for any of the adults from the children or families.

In agreement with all staff, any gifts which are sent into school will be donated to local charities. Please support St Cuthbert’s and all of our children and families – please do not send any gifts in.

If parents/carers want to express thanks to staff then please send in a card, a letter or an email. This feedback is so valuable to our well-being and has such a positive impact on our morale and really is very much appreciated.

Christmas Party Days

The Christmas Party Days are a gift from us for all of the children. Children can wear their party clothes on their party day. There’ll be plenty of dancing and party games and the children will all enjoy a free Christmas Party Lunch on the day.

If you would like to discuss this further or have any other queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for your continued support.

Best wishes,

Mrs Anne Bullerwell

Headteacher
