Year 5 Spring Term 26
Y5 took a trip to Newcastle Civic Centre for a language morning. We learnt all about the Yoruba language and culture. We listened to stories, discussed food, sung, danced, played the drums and got dressed up. It was quite the spectacular! Thank you to Victoria and her friends for this most welcome and informative workshop. Year 5 enjoyed art and reading about St Cuthbert. Care Home visit
Some of our pupils from Year 5 and 6 visited Kenton Hall Care Home this week, to spend some time with the residents and complete some spooky crafts. It was a wonderful experience for everyone involved and we are really excited to continue to make links between school and the care home.
