EYFS loved it when our parents and carers came into school to do some Easter crafts with us.  We made some fabulous hats.

We've had a great week in Reception celebrating Easter.  We've been on an Easter picture hunt and Easter egg hunt outside. We loved wearing our own clothes today for our disco and party games.  Reception enjoyed performing on stage and sharing the story of Palm Sunday with their families and the rest of the school.  This week we have also enjoyed learning about the features of Spring.  We painted some beautiful pictures of daffodils and named the parts of the flower. We loved it when our parents came to join our Maths lesson this week.  They helped us to complete a Maths activity where we had to identify different ways of making ten.  We have taken our Family Maths Toolkit Scrapbooks home so we can do more challenges at home.  Well done everyone.  Thank you to all of the parents who attended our Year 4 well-being session. Reception and Year 6 loved meeting up this week playing and sharing their news about what they did over the Christmas holidays.

Reception class had great fun at our Christmas party.  We looked very festive in our party clothes and loved dancing to the Christmas music.  We enjoyed playing party games and eating yummy party food.  We even had a special visit from Santa.   We wish all of our Reception families and friends a very Merry Christmas.
