Mission Christmas
During Advent, we collected a huge amount of gifts and toys as well as cash donations to distribute to children and young people in the North East, to help bring a little joy on Christmas morning.
Carol Singing
We visited 'Kirkwood Court' residential home where we sang carols and Christmas songs in the garden. It was so heartwarming to see the joy on the faces of the residents who thoroughly enjoyed clapping and singing along with us. When we sang 'Christmas in Geordieland' the words brought back great memories for one particular resident who said she used to work at a pub by the Quayside. We also delivered Christmas cards which the children had made in school.
The children were thanked by the home with a visit from Santa and a small gift.
Number Day
To support the NSPCC we took part in Number day and raised £108. The children dressed and enjoyed fun activities relating to Maths - a great way to create a love of Maths!

Easter Cards
During Lent, we have been thinking about the residents at Kirkwood Court Residential home, near our school.
We have given up our lunchtimes to create Easter cards for some of the residents, to give a little joy and let them know we are thinking about them.
Kirkwood Court Residential Home
To support our local residential home we created bunting to help promote their annual Open day on 1st July. Their theme was "Bring Me Sunshine"
