Children gathered in the library. In talk partners, we read poems to each other. We discussed the patterns, rhymes, format and different styles. We discussed how to deliver a poem and talked about tone, volume and intonation. We mentioned that these things happen to support the audience and their engagement. Next, we performed some of the poems.

Y4 enjoyed a super session in gymnastics - great stretching!
Y4 have been investigating their new geography topic of Europe. Our Focus has been Spain and the areas that Spain is broken down into. Specifically, we are looking into Catalonia and Barcelona. We are investigating the regions of Spain through our atlas and discovering the cities in them. Next, we will be discovering more about the human and physicals geography of these areas and the varying climates.
