Autumn 2022

Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed the production of The Jungle Book.  Their costumes were fantastic and they all loved the workshop after the performance!
 
 
This week Year 6 went on a trip to Safetyworks where they took part in a series of fantastic, interactive workshops all about safety in the home and out on the street.
 
 
Year 6 hosted a phenomenal coffee morning in aid of the Fantastic Macmillan charity - it was a fantastic morning raising money for such a worthy cause!
 
 
Year 6 had a great time starting to build their fairground rides in D&T this week - they're looking forward to making some changes to them next week.
 
 
Year 6 are really enjoying our class novel, Rose Blanche. They have enjoyed taking part in a range of drama activities linked to the book!
 
 
Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed the Spooky Disco - they had great fun dancing and playing games! 
 
 
 
Year 6 had a wonderful time Carol singing. The highlight of their visit was definitely their carvery lunch! Thank you to the Toby Carvery for this opportunity!
 
 
 
As part of Year 6's current geography topic, they took part in a police investigation to help them understand how humans use and misuse the Amazon Rainforest.
 
 
 
Year 6 have been working extremely hard in science with Miss Dembry. We have learned about what makes blood and the different cells that are in our bodies. Year 6 have made fantastic models to represent the blood! Well done!
 
 
 
Year 6 have been working hard in English planning and writing a diary entry as Rose Blanche. It was also great to see some children putting their observational drawing skills to the test during Golden Time this week. Well done Year 6!
