Heritage Heroes 2025-26

This year, the Heritage Heroes have played a vital role in developing our multilingual local area heritage tours.
They helped distribute these to community hubs, including the doctors’ surgery, library and foodbank, ensuring that local history is accessible to a wider audience.
They also took part in our archaeological excavation trial during the summer, uncovering some fascinating artefacts on the school site. In addition, they proudly led our VE Day assembly and have been consulted on a range of heritage projects, including the exciting museum we are currently creating. Their enthusiasm, leadership and commitment have made a significant contribution to celebrating our local heritage.
